This series i have just watched and the blu-ray tarnsfer is fantastic, the sound and picture and colour are so clear! (usually tv shows arent that good of transfer but hey this is) The scifi edge to it and supernatural edge to it to makes it a a very good show, the episodes are really well scripted and acted out and the storyline to them can be believeable but i for one just enjoy the well acted show!!
The blu-ray transfer is very well done and hugely recommend this to your collection of enterainment on blu-ray!

By far one of the best Sci-Fi shows around... Gripping from the very start, with every show you will have eps which dont do it justice but for the continuing story and total out of the box thinking that the writers had to come up with makes this an amazing show to watch.

I blasted through the first season in 3 days!!

 Great Opening Season

Released to tie in with the second season starting on Sky this season introduces us to dedicated FBI agent Olivia Dunham, conman Peter Bishop and his mad scientist father Walter Bishop (the shows scene-stealer).

While the show follows the X-Files original 'different unexplained thing happens each week they have to solve' there is a careful series arc that cleverly builds to one of the most barking mad and controversial closing shots of any season finale you are likely to see.

Some may feel it a bit contrived that Walter for some reason or another seems to have had something to do with nearly everything wierd that happens in the show however John Noble turns in such brilliant performaces over the season you'll let it slide especially as when the season ends you realise you've only seen the tip of the iceberg as to where the show is going and if a show can be this good when its just laying the ground work for future seasons, season 2 and hopefully beyond should be something special.

Just pre-ordered this, personally cannot wait for it as it's an awesome series. I just hope the packaging is the lenticular packaging like the US version, which looks amazing.

FRINGE IS THE NEW X FILES!!!

A great new show is this. Having watched the full season on Sky recently I can honestly say this is certainly one to watch. Anna Torv plays FBI agent Olvia Dunham with great emotion & strength. who is called into head a new department called Fringe Science headed by Lance Reddick (previously seen in The Wire & Lost). Former teen heathrob Joshua Jackson proves to be the comic relief as Peter Bishop. John Noble( last seen as Sean Bean's Dad in Return of The King) Plays the eccentric Walter Bishop who was a brilliant scientist turned mental patient. Kirk Acevedo also turns up as Torv's sidekick Charlie. This is very much in the X Files mould & for fans of that series might just find something new & different here. Well worth seeing!!!
