Alice In Wonderland: Double Play (With Play.com Exclusive Playing Cards!) (Burton) (Blu-ray)

This was a great reinvention of the classic story, it pretty much stays true to the original story but adds a few new levels and twists to it too, the overall look of the film is amazing with some very cool effects and great visual treats! All the characters are great, very funny and enjoyable to watch. Alice in wonderland is an enchanting story that anyone of any age can sit and enjoy.

I absolutely loved this film, it was soo indulgent and always had something happening, having loved the Disney cartoon since childhood it did not dissapoint! Johnny Depp was amazing as usual and I absolutely LOVED both the Queens, brilliant acting from them both.. can't wait to see it again!

This movie is exactly what you expect when you sit down with a Burton piece.
Stunning visuals in strange settings.
Additionally his interpretation of the animal characters is especially well done.
As always you watch the film to enjoy his vision of this world rather than the rather standard story (it does contain some alterations to the traditional alice in wonderland story, but its nothing special storywise)

as tim burton films go this is also a very good one i went to see this in 3d and was very impressed.the effects were dazzaling and so colorfull also i think johnny depp played the part of the mad hatter extreamely well i would reccomend this film to everyone you will have a dazzaling and magical experiance well watching this i wont buy this film in 3d cause it will be coming out in 3d as i dont like anaglyphic 3d. apart from that i will mark this film a 9.5/10

This is a good film and the tim burton look at this is good, but i saw this in 3D.Just got my avatar blu-ray and with that movie this could be the same can it work without the 3D, in 3D avatar 5/5 on blue ray 2D 4/5.also when i saw this in the cinema in 3D it was not shot on the same type of camera that avatar was shot on so some times if thing moved fast it went blured, unlike avatar which was clear all round.as a 2d film this should be ok but i will wait for the 3D version comes out before i buy.
