Brilliant! Really surprised at just how much I liked this. I am a great fan of Zombie films and Woody Harrelson and wasn't quite sure what to expect here but man o man, what a corker. Now some may disagree, that is the beauty of the freedom we enjoy in this great land.... but from the off this is a really clever, funny, entertaining, off beat joy ride of a flick!!! One of the best films in the last few years for me. ENJOY!!!

This is one of the most enjoyable films I've seen. Its such a fun little film, combining the elements of zombie and comedy (zom-com?) so well to make the perfect blend.
Performances are brilliant but Woody Harrelson is great, his comical brutality is a joy to watch.
The film looks crisp in HD!
5/5 A fun zombie film!

Finally, a zombie movie worth watching!

Picture quality on blu ray is excellent, just like the sound.

The film itself is excellent. I was expecting goofy and immature jokes and one liners, but i was met with witty, intelligent and well timed humour.

There was still enough left over to be drawn to a good solid story and the zombie effects were also very good.

A very pleasant surprise

Hope this review helps

This was a very good zombie film proof that horror films actually can be quite funny.

It has been well thought out. The acting along with the somewhat witty dialogue and overall notion in the zombie tradition makes Zombieland in my opinion one of the best horror-comedies of all time.

Recommend 5/5!!

This film made me laugh so hard mainly because of woody harrilson. One of the best zombie movies ever made. The picture and sound on blu ray is awesome.

This film was undoubtedly the best movie of 2009. A touch of Shaun of the dead with a brash american slightly indie take on the end of civilisation. Woody Harleson doesn't put a foot wrong and the cameo by a certain ghostbuster totally rocks.
It deservered a nomination but Oscar was always going to ignore it much better than Avatar or The Hurt Locker having watched it again twice on bkuray it just gets better and better

  Great film

If you like Shaun of the Dead you'll love this, its basically Shaun of the Dead with a bigger budget, a great cameo and rollercoasters!

  very funny!

This is a very funny film and is definitely worh a purchase. The funniest film of 2009 (next to in the loop of course), looks and sounds amazing on the blu-ray format.

Zombies, since Shaun Of The Dead they've been everywhere, slow, fast, infected, brain chomping and all points in between. So much so that if the dead actually rose and began gnawing everything with a pulse it would only be second item on the news. Sadly, most of the recent zombie boom films have been pretty poor, either through lack of money or lack of script. Zombieland succeeds because it pays great attention to character as well as gore. The performances are all great but Woody Harrelson deserves special praise for a career best, instantly likeable and revealed later as rather tragic. The film doesn't scrimp on action and takes a Left4Dead kind of approach which keeps things fresh. Add a hilarious cameo by a comedy legend and you've got a film that stands proud in the illustrious company of both Shaun and Romero's best films. Excellent AV quality
