It's 1947 Hollywood and Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), a down on- his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that Marvin Acme, gag factory mogul and owner of Toontown, is playing hanky panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of Maroon Cartoon superstar, Roger Rabbit. When Acme is found murdered, all fingers point to Roger, and the sinister, power-hungry Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) is on a mission to bring Roger to justice. Roger begs the Toon-hating Valiant to find the real evildoer and the plot thickens as Eddie uncovers scandal after scandal and realizes the very existence of Toontown is at stake! Who Framed Roger Rabbit is deliciously outrageous fun the whole family will enjoy.

Timeless classic! At this price you can't go wrong. Brilliant film with great animation effects, loads of laughs, great cast of characters. It also has a very adult sense of humour in places and can be quite dark at times but awesome. Kids will love it too none the less. A classic film. Awesome features on the disc too.

Over the years there have been many attempts to meld live-action and animation but Roger Rabbit is the definitive success amogst them. As much time has been spent on the production design, scripting and story as the still-impressive special effects and offers the only chance to see Looney Tunes and Disney characters go head to head on the big screen. Christopher Lloyd is superbly offbeat as the evil Jusge Doom and Bob Hoskins put in a highly admirable performance considering his co-star for the most part was never on set. Witty, enjoyable and full of clever references 'Roger Rabbit' is still the top of the class. And admit it guys, we've all got a soft spot for Jessica Rabbit, haven't we?

A Film That Will NEVER Date!!

This is a fantastic film!! Even though it has been around for a while, its one you can watch over and over!! I have even been introducing it to my niece- who think this is brilliant!! (She is only 4) the contrast between the cartoons and reality is outstanding!! If you have never seen this film, then this is well worth a buy!! You will not regret it!!

 Groundbreaking special effect filled blockbuster

I remember watching this film back when i was 10 upon it's release and i loved it to bits.It had all the favourite cartoon characters from my fav cartoons in it and the gags were fantastic.
I ordered this recentley from Play.com to let my 2 little girls see it and now they love it too.
The special effects were simply fantsatic for back in the 80's the comedy was brilliant as well and Bob Hoskins really put in a superb performance working with the CGI Roger Rabbit.
The story is great for people of all ages and this is simply one of the best films you can put on for a wet sunday afternoon as it puts the whole family in a good mood.Excellent film with great performances,Amazing special effects and tons of laugh out loud moments 10/10.

 All time classic!!
