In late 19th Century Hong Kong the British may rule the land, but the pirates rule the waters. Reluctantly, the Coast Guard is given money to fight these pirates, but the pirates themselves have many contacts (bribed officials) in the government, and seek to thwart the Coast Guard's efforts to eliminate them. One Coast Guard officer is Dragon Ma (Jackie Chan), who is determined that his beloved Coast Guard will not be made to look like fools...

Jackie Chan,Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao have never been better than in this fantastic piece of entertainment.Chan as the coastguard turned cop,Hung as the rogue and Biao as a cop who come together to fight a common enemy..Pirates.Outrageous stunts including the infamous clock tower fall that always looks painful on every viewing.Slapstick comedy such as the bicycle chase through alleyways and bruising fights such as the trios fight with the pirate boss make this an essential purchase no self respecting Chan fan should be without!

One of the Best Jackie Chan Films Made

With a legendary cast of Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung to name a couple, this film is easily one of the best Hong Kong martial arts film of it's time. Even today none of Hong Kong or Hollywood's 'Rope and CGI' tricks even compare to the meticulously choreographed stunts and fight scenes in this film. Tied in with the unique Jackie Chan humour which only he can pull off and the fact that he performs all his own stunts, this DVD is a must have for all avid collectors and a must see for everyone else.

I didn't expect this film to be as good as it was, I had heard some really good things about it (such as, it's the best film that starred Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Yuen Biao together) but it really was good and I'd recommend it to every one that's a fan of the genre.
