From M. Night Shyamalan comes an action-packed fantasy adventure for the whole family. The fate of humanity rests in the hands of a young Avatar heir. He must risk everything to restore the balance of his war-torn world. With the power to control all the elements, he is The Last Airbender.

From the Director of Sixth Sense comes the highly anticipated live-action family adventure, The Last Airbender, based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon TV series.

Air, Water, Earth and Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation led by Prince Zuko (Dev Patel), launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

I used to watch the cartoon when i was a kid, so went to the cinema to see this and was really amazed with the special effects.
I heard that there will be more to come - cant wait!!

Why isn't there a No Stars option?

I can't even begin to describe, as a fan of Avatar The Last Airbender, just how angry, heart-broken and bitter this film made me. Actually i can. I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan, and this hurt worse than Jar Jar I'm a comics collector, Batman comics, and this was a bigger disappointment, a greater offense against the things i love, than Batman And Robin. There should be a special circle of movie hell for MNS, not for his inability to write dialogue or stage an action scene, but for the way he ignores everything that made this property great so as to turn it into M. Night Shymalan's The Last Airbender. If he never works again, its too soon

 Great For the Boys!

The critics are jumping on this because of the director and his past, the fact that it wasn't a great 3D epic.....ignore them. It's a kids film!

One for the boys who were introduced to karate by the new Karate Kid....(just like I was with the original).......but the action in this film is so much better.

It's a harmless good hearted affair. If you've got kids, get it!

 Great action for kids

This is great fun for the kids this Christmas with brilliant action sequences and plenty of impressive fight sequences.
