Action superstars Jet Li (Fearless, The Forbidden Kingdom) and Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) team up with celebrated action-director, Yuen Woo-ping (The Matrix Trilogy), to deliver one of the most kinetic and inventive martial arts adventures of all time.

Showcasing his trademark speed, agility and explosive power, Jet Li is a true force of nature in this matchless movie event that delivers scene after scene of truly spectacular martial arts combat. Li portrays the inventor of T'ai Chi in this entertaining if not historically accurate martial-arts movie.

Lifelong friends Junbao (Li) and Tienbao (Chin Siu-Ho) are expelled from their Shaolin temple after being accused of cheating. Tienbao becomes a powerful and oppressive military leader while Junbao joins a rebel group led by Qiuxue (Yeoh). Only the discipline of Tai Chi can help Junbao defeat his former friend.

Excellent but be warned of wires

Yes, this is Twin Warriors, but with the original title, language, and soundtrack. Plus, Twin Warriors cut some of the scenes where Jet Li goes mad, which are very funny.
This version is the ultimate version of the film- with its original title, original language (not the overly cheesy American dub), and far superior musical score.
The only 2 things against this film is the over-use of wires making some of the fights a little silly (including the finale), and also the fact the wires can easily be seen, which spoils the effect. They didn't use CG to remove them when this film was made.
Other than that, its a great story, with likeable characters, plenty of humour, and loads of action (with plenty of variety in the action too- no 2 fights are the same).
An absolute classic.

 Hmm this is a re-package/ re-release

one of jets' best-but if you look for movie called Twin Warriors you'll find it's one and the same movie.Hilarious scenes where jet loses his mind through his best friends betrayal then finds his chi.Fantastic but be warned it's Twin Warriors re-packaged.

a good film lots of great fights and a solid story of the young monks training to be the best fighter in the land then after they are kicked out of the kung fu school they go there diffrent ways one becomes a guard in the inperial army the other gets involved with the rebal army it's a pitty i have the film under a diffrent name it's called( twin warriors ) its part of the jet li collection,
i think if your buying this film this edition is better there is a english dub and a few good extras , but forget the extras buy the film for the film it's a good one
