Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Members of a vicious Yakuza-style gang with their protection rackets and brutal, ritualistic slayings, have turned the area into a nightmare of corruption and murder.
The police are seemingly powerless to the stem the relentless tide of violence - but for one detective at least, defeat is unthinkable.

For Kenner (Dolph Lungren), a martial arts expert raised in Japan, has another more personal reason for wanting to see the demise of the evil genius masterminding the gang.
And, together with his Anglo-Japanese partner (Brandon Lee), he moves relentlessly towards the explosive and bloody showdown.

All in all, the combined team of Brandon and Dolph was superier! A must watch for any martial ars fan!

This is a brilliant no brainer martial arts film.Dolph lundgren and brandon lee are a great double act. Both show off excellent martial arts skills. Not much in the way of a story, but just sit back and enjoy.

 Very good partnership

Its a very good film because it stars two of the best martial artists around and they worked well together although in all honesty there is'nt that many really big one on one's.It is however still full of kicks and chops as Brandon and Dolph show really a higher budget or meatier bad guys would have gone a long way, the film however is still very good

dolph and brandon shine in this rather enjoyable action packed and funny film.mark lesters direction brings out the best of the 2 actors.the screenplay is very good and there are some well choreographed fight and action sequences.there are a few flaws but not enough to put you off in anyway.this region 2 version is cut by 6 secs and the region 1 is also cut.there is a european region 2 and region 4 versions which are uncut but the choice is yours
