Titles Comprise:

Alien: The terror begins when the crew of the spaceship Nostromo investigates a transmission from a desolate planet and makes a horrifying discovery, a life form that breeds within a human host. Now the crew must fight not only for its own survival, but for the survival of all mankind.

Aliens: Sigourney Weaver returns as Ripley, the only survivor from mankind's first encounter with the monstrous Alien. Her account of the Alien and the fate of her crew are received with skepticism, until the mysterious disappearance of colonists on LV-426 lead her to join a team of high-tech colonial marines sent in to investigate...

Alien 3: Lt. Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is the lone survivor when her crippled spaceship crash lands on Fiorina 161, a bleak wasteland inhabited by former inmates of the planet's maximum security prison. Ripley's fears that an Alien was aboard her craft are confirmed when the mutilated bodies of ex-cons begin to mount. Without weapons or modern technology of any kind, Ripley must lead the men into battle against the terrifying creature. And soon she discovers a horrifying fact about her link with the Alien, a realisation that may compel Ripley to try destroying not only the horrific creature, but herself as well.

Alien Resurrection: Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) died fighting the perfect predator. Two hundred years and eight horrific experiments later, she's back. A group of scientists have cloned her, along with the alien queen inside her, hoping to breed the ultimate weapon. But the resurrected Ripley is full of surprises for her "creators", as are the aliens. And soon, a lot more than "all hell" breaks loose! To combat the creatures, Ripley must team up with a band of smugglers, including a mechanic named Call (Winona Ryder), who holds more than a few surprises of her own.

No matter what they sat this is the best Alien collection ever, better than the bluray version, the cuts of the films are better in this set, you get more features on the bluray set and the pictures not much different, this version of Alien 3 is awesome, if you dont have the set already and want a bargain then make you get this!!!

At this price no-one will hear you scream!!!

What a steal, i paid much more like 20 pound for this and was satisfied..It is a very good box set Extra feature wise, theres doc's, interviews, castings, trailers, and alternate endings got to be 10-12 hours or so i only watched stuff regarding 1 & 2

Alien = Great introduction to the Alien, all cast great and a classic thriller, not aged bad either..

Aliens = My personnel favorite buy a long, long shot. The tag line to this movie was "this time its war" and stone me was it. Directed buy James (the Terminator) Cameron, it was the perfect sequel.
And the characters Excellent Ripley was just Ripley, but the Marines Hicks, Hudson, Vasques, Apone.
Others Bishop, Burke

If you watch one Alien Movie, make this is it, and not just of this Franchise but of all time, closely followed buy original Predator, and original Alien...

Alien 3 = OK, to be fair there was no following Number 2, not a bad film

Alien 4 = OK if you just wanted more, however this really wanted to be Aliens, and fell short..

But all in all a great box-set at a great price, you get 2 classic movies, and 2 OK movies cant be bad

I just thought i'd mention that each of the four films have their own slimline DVD covers & have the Director's Cut and the Theatrical Release of each movie on one disk making 8 films if you desire.

The picture & sound quality seems fine to me & by the way, the 5th disc is stored in the 4th DVD cover.

For this price you cannot be serious. What a bargain. Ok so Alien; great suspense, good storyline but the grainiest of all the films.. but then it is the oldest. Aliens, my favourite as the marines are so cool. Lets be honest we all want to be one.. 'a day in the marinne corps is like a day on the farm'. Good film loads of action. Alien 3, underated & drags on a bit. It is watchable but not the best of the franchise. Basically I did not really care about any of the characters. There were no pulse rifles and just a little 'dull'. Alien Resurrection..umm. I think I liked this but not sure. I love the alien franchise but this left me well disappointed. I can't quite put my finger on it but the best films are Alien & Aliens. Buy this set for just these two and you have your moneys worth.

 Good Box set but..
