I was soooo looking forward to this remastered set of colour Emma Peel episodes and whilst they are beautiful to look at what has happened to Emma's voice???? It sounds like someone doing a high-pitched bad Diana Rigg impression!!!!
Optimum have messed up on all previous Avengers sets and have sorted them out so PLEASE recall these and get the problem rectified because I can't listen to Steed and Emma sounding like Pinky & Perky.......42 ponds worth of DVDs just collecting dust....I still have my A&E discs which are not as beautiful but Diana Rigg sounds like Diana Rigg.....
The sound on the set has now been corrected (unless you manage to buy from someone with old stock). New versions of the discs say V3 around the centre of their silver side.
Phenomenal colours and clarity on this remastered dvd set (on my old telly anyway!) Hard to believe that this was made in the 60's.
