Gotham City faces two monstrous criminal menaces: the bizarre, sinister Penguin (Danny DeVito) and the slinky, mysterious Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer). Can Batman (Michael Keaton) battle two formidable foes at once? Like the Academy Award winning 1989 original, Batman Returns is directed by movie-making wizard Tim Burton. And like the first blockbuster, it’s a dazzling adventure that leaves you breathless.

i have got tickets to go and see the dark knight at the premiere in london but as far as i am concerned this is the best batman film there ever has been the dark knight will have to be better than the best to be as good as this one.

I rated this 4 stars at the time and 3 stars now, the film was dissapionting after the frist but had alot of style and vision. The acting and performances were great especialy from Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman and she stole the show, extremly sexy more so than Halle Berrys version but really i felt the film lacked something, may be needed more action or something but it was'nt down to the acting, there just is'nt enough excitement

 what a film!!!!!!!!!!!

again because ive done a review for 'Batman' evrything i said that was great about the first 1 is true with this, the film like the first is Passionate to the style of the film, dark, ferocious, clever and tim burton-ey, the films series was later let down by 'Joel Shumacher' for that i hate him, but thanks to the style of the original comics and Tim Burtons there was these 2 but batman begins also is a great film and the other should be destroyed and then everybody can love the dark knight, Batman begins then Batman and to finish Batman returns, ohh what a trilogy, its just a shame that there not the only 3.

Better than Batman (1989) but not by much.

Tim Burton rubbish - too fairytale and dull ending.

Christopher Nolans versions are superior in every way.
