Step Up: He's a defiant rebel from the wrong side of Baltimore's tracks. She's a privileged dancer from an elite performing art school. Their worlds couldn't be more different but when their fates collide, the sparks between them fly, igniting an exhilarating hip-hop-fuelled fairy tale about making your one shot at an improbable dream come true.

Step Up 2: Rebellious newcomer Andie (Briana Evigan) is an outcast street dancer trying to fit in at the elite School of the Arts. Chase (Robert Hoffman) is the school's red hot talent and a rising star. Both want to win the biggest, baddest street dancing battle, "The Streets", and they might just do it if they team up. As the gifted dancers clash and sizzle, Andie must learn to build a bridge between love and loyalty, between who she is and who she believes she can be. It's time to Step Up.

Step Up 3: Urban street dancing goes global in an electrifying new story with mind blowing dance moves. The House of Pirates dance crew are pitched against their long time rivals, the House of Samurai at the upcoming World Jam Competition. In an exhilarating and energetic dance battle against the world's best hip hop dancers, this high-stakes showdown will change all their lives forever...

It would be unfair for me to review this being a Dad in my late 30's as this trilogy is not aimed at me, it's aimed at the teen market so it's only right for my Thirteen year old Daughter to review this collection.
"The 13 year olds review"
Step up Trilogy is an oustanding collection of dance movies, although the plot is thin, the music and dancing is fantastic, with great characters and a fast pace this is perfect entertainment.
That can be watched over and over.
"The Dads Review"
That's not dancing it's moving your feet real fast!
OK I admit I did enjoy them, but for me it's not as good as Footloose, Breakdance, Breakdance 2 ( The Electic Boogaloo) Saturday Night Fever, Flash Dance, House Party. "Bring Back The 80's!"
Also a word of warning, if your in you thirty's don't try to copy the moves at home after a few beers, you'll end up putting your back out...I did!
I'm too old for this ****

Step Up (2005) ****
Step Up 2 ( 2007) *****
Step up 3 (2010)****
See if you like.....
Street Dance (2010)
Stomp The Yard.
Being in Traction and the local A & E!

 Three fast paced dance films!

You get value for money when purchasing these films.
Although the story lines of the films aren't exactly amazing and the first and the main parts of the films seem quite repetitive, the dance routines are out of this world!

Although the films are based mainly around street dance, other dance styles are incorporated and makes these films easy to watch with loveable characters.
The music chosen for the films also fits well, making them catchy and easy to remember.

If you have not seen any of these films I suggest watching them (from the start of course!) especially if you love dance films. I myself wasn't a lover of dance films, but this opened my eyes!
Fantastic.
