The Wachowski Brothers' trilogy is brought together on this fantastic boxed set.

The Matrix: Perception: The Everyday World is Real. Reality: That World is a hoax, an elaborate deception spun by all-powerful machines of artificial intelligence that control us.

Mind blowing stunts. Techno-slamming visuals. Megakick action. Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne lead the fight to free humankind in The Matrix, the cyber thriller that you will watch again and again. Written and Directed by the Wachowski brothers (Bound), the story sears, the special effects stake out new movie-making territory - the movie leaves you breathless.

The Matrix Reloaded: Neo and the leaders of the human resistance discover that Sentinels are burrowing their way towards Zion. Estimating they have perhaps just 72 hours until an all-out assault, Neo must return back into the Matrix and find the keymaker to gain access to the mainframe to ensure human survival...

The Matrix Revolutions: In this final explosive third installment of the Matrix trilogy, the city of Zion, last bastion of the human race, defends itself against the massive invasion of the machines as Neo attempts to fulfill his prophecy as 'The One'. As the Machine Army wages devastation on Zion, its citizens mount an aggressive defense - but can they stave off the relentless swarm of Sentinels long enough for Neo, adrift in a no man's land between the Matrix and the Machine world, to harness the full extent of his powers and end the war?

The Matrix slams you back in you seat, pops your eyes wide open, and makes your jaw hit the floor. Fast, intelligent and visually spectacular, it's an ultra cool rollercoaster movie, and you won't want to miss a single second. At this price, I can't recommend it highly enough. And what a great night in, to watch all three films back-to-back.

In 1999 the world stood back in awe and confusion at the awesome spectical of the film 'The Matrix' being released.

A truely groundbreaking film, creating a revolution in the dark sci-fi genre.

This like many epics shows the echoes of the possible future, were humanity has become a battery pack designed to keep the machines that we once created, alive. We blackened the skies to stop their main source of power (the sun) and so they created a system program in which all humanity would live out their lives generating a constant source of power for the machines. (i cannot explain the idea of this film... just go watch it!!)

This is by far a fantastic trilogy. One of the greatest sci-fi trilogys to ever be made.

Follow the stories of Neo, Morpheus, trininty and of coruse the infamous Agent Smith in this war-epic version of the dark future, were man and machine fight for survival.

Although many claim that 'The Matrix' is brilliant and the others not so, i disagree! Once my brother fully explained the very complex story that the final two bring too us it makes brilliant sense and actually makes it more scray because... well who knows... do we live in the program called the Matrix? (Don't worry, I'm not a nut i don't actually think that...)

No matter what i write i can't explain the story fully so your best bet is to watch them and make up your own mind! I think that they are all good but the frist is by far the most amazing!!! Either way, sit back and enjoy! :)

"What are you waiting for? You're faster than this. Don't think you are, know you are. Come on. Stop trying to hit me and hit me."

What can I say about the Matrix films apart from the fact they are mind-blowing (well the first two certainly are). These films are groundbreaking and simply ooze cool (so much so I had to buy the shades that the evil twins wore in Reloaded!) The box set is a great buy as you will require to see all films to have any hope of making sense of the whole thing. If that fails, switch your brain into neutral and just enjoy the awesome set pieces and fight scenes. Worth it for the first two films alone as the third instalment (Revolutions) is pretty disappointing.

What a great Trilogy. The first Matrix is easily the best & contray to popular opinion I really enjoyed 2 & 3. Some of the actions sequences in 2 esp. has to be seen to be believed. Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne & Carrie Ann Moss are all brilliant as Neo, Morpheus & Trinity. Hugo Weaving steals the show as Agent Smith with his witty one liners. Brilliant!!

 Simply epic

The Matrix is my favourite film of all time, the mixture of Sci-fi and Action in it is unbelievable.
The reason that the trilogy hasn't earned 5 stars is because of the sequels: Reloaded and Revolutions are both amazing films, but it's almost as though they are different films. Reloaded is 99% action and Revolutions 99% sci-fi.
As films, Reloaded is the best, but this film throws the whole trilogy off course and when it returns to sci-fi mode in Revolutions, we miss the action seen in Reloaded and it ruins a great end to an awesome trilogy.
ALL of the special effects are just outstanding and the fight scenes in Reloaded and the one at the end of Revolutions justify this; 'simply epic'. But if you see what I mean, three sci-fi/action films would have been better than having one film for each genre in the trilogy.
All three seperately are amazing films and definitely recommended, but 'The Matrix' (1) is in a league of its own in terms of the trilogy. Watch.
