Night Of The Living Dead: The radiation from a fallen satellite causes the recently deceased to rise from the grave and seek the living to use as food. Seven people barricade themselves inside a farmhouse while the army of flesh-eating zombies roams the countryside...

Dawn Of The Dead: After securing an apartment building overcome with flesh-eating zombies, two Philadelphia area SWAT team members, Peter and Roger, flee to a television station, where they escape in the station's helicopter with Francine and Stephen - two station employees. Seeking refuge from the zombies and the ensuing hysteria, they land on the roof of a Pittsburgh area shopping mall, despite the fact that the undead seem to be flocking there... What begins as a stop for supplies becomes a longer stay as the four become embroiled in a futile war within the mall to consume retail goods and remain alive. The only difference between them and the zombies, is that they aren't dead...

Day Of The Dead: The walking dead have taken over the world and only a small band of the living survive. This motley group of scientists and soldiers are barricaded in an abandoned missile silo where the chief scientist is conducting grotesque research experiments to find a way of controlling the ravenous, marauding Zombies. Tensions meanwhile become intolerable especially when the self appointed psychotic military leader discovers that some of his soldiers have been used as guinea pigs in the zombie experiments. A last ditch battle results in the "darkest day of horror the world has ever known".

 Grim but essential viewing!

The ultimate zombie trilogy is a must see for anybody who is into horror. Not sure if NOTLD is the extended cut previously available is the version included here which to be fair is no bad thing as the scenes included were newly shot and even though filmed in black and white still look too fresh and so seem more intrusive than anything else.Dawn is by far the best of the series taking place in a shopping mall and taking swipes at consumerism as well as injecting extreme gore. Day ends the trilogy in fashion and is set in a florida based missile silo at a time when the dead now out number the living and the last hope humanity has is to try and domesticate the dead! ignore the imitations and pretenders and purchase these instead.Flesh tearingly brilliant!

Three great films all in one boxset the best zombie horror films to be made and there wont be better i can guarantee it. Night is great for suspense and being able to scare you at least i was, dawn is quite comical and very gory with a great soundtrack and day is very good for suspense and gore. George what a legend

All of the zombies on each of the four discs: Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of The Dead and Day of the Dead is really incredible and fun to watch. I really think that watching these movies makes me want to become part of the action as well. Thumbs up to George Romero.

The godfather of Zombie films has his finest work in this trilogy. 'Dawn really is the best of three' but any self respecting zombie nut or fans of 'tape it or die' should have this in their collection.
