Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone: Harry Potter learns on his 11th birthday that he is the orphaned son of a powerful witch and wizard and possesses magical powers of his own. At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry embarks on the adventure of a lifetime, discovering a world of magic and fantasy where he is destined to live.

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets: Cars fly, trees fight back and a mysterious elf comes to warn Harry Potter at the start of the second year of his amazing journey into the world of wizardry. This year at Hogwarts, spiders talk, letters scold and Harry's own unsettling ability to speak to snakes turns his friends against him. From dueling clubs to rogue Bludgers, it's a year of adventure and danger when bloody writing on a wall announces: "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened". To save Hogwarts will require all of Harry, Ron and Hermione's magical abilities and courage in this spellbinding adaptation of J.K. Rowling's second book.

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban: It's Harry's third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. More terrifying than his increasingly difficult classes is the fact that convicted murderer Sirius Black (Oldman), an associate of Lord Voldemort, has escaped Azkaban prison and could be coming after him...

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire: Beset by nightmares that leave his scar hurting more than usual, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) is all too happy to escape his disturbing dreams by attending the Quidditch World Cup with his friends Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson). But something sinister ignites the skies at the Quidditch campsite; the Dark Mark, the sign of the evil Lord Voldemort. It's conjured by his followers, the Death Eaters, who haven't dared to appear in public since Voldemort was last seen thirteen years ago - the night he murdered Harry's parents.

Harry longs to get back inside the safe walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) can protect him. But things are going to be a little different this year. Dumbledore announces that Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament, one of the most exciting and dangerous of the wizarding community's magical competitions. One champion will be selected from each of the three largest and most prestigious wizarding schools to compete in a series of life-threatening tasks in pursuit of winning the coveted Triwizard Cup...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about his recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands.

Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince: Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching.

This boxset contains all 6 of the potter films year 1-6, my seprate ratings for the films are:
Harry Potter Philopher Stone: 4/5
Harry Potter Chamber of secrets: 2/5
Harry Potter Prisnor of Askaban: 5/5
Harry Potter goblet of fire: 5/5
Harry Potter order of phoenix: 5/5
Harry Potter Half Blood Prince: 2/5
This is quite a vary of reviews so my overall rating is 4**** as shown at the beginning of my reviews. The plot running through the films is excellent and really keeps you stimulated in the movies with its mix of action, drama, sadness and just utter immense. The actors in all the films are really good and all the actors really do make the whole thing just top quality. The standard in all the films us very high and this is very deserving because the films are just excellent. The special and visual affects where not that good in the 1st film but during every film they where just getting better and better every time. This is an excellent boxset and one that everyone sholud buy.

Harry Potter magic that i am tired of now.

First of all, the characters are superb, the settings are superb and the charm and magic is superb. I am a middle aged bloke and bought this for my Children (Nearing teens now). For them they adore the films and spend hours discussing this spell and that etc.
I think it's definately an age thing as I have watched the films once each and just feel that each film is getting longer, more tedious and duller by each installment. We are all waiting for a climax battle where the heroes win..hurrah, then they are off for sandwiches and a glass of ginger beer etc.
As a middle aged bloke I want them to get on with the battle kill off the cast and not make anymore! There, sorry I said it.. end it now for older parents everywhere. Spare me the torture of yet more Potter toys, lunchboxes, pencil cases and countless 'definitive' Potter books ! I know this is highly controversial and not in the main line of opinion of fans as my owns kids are disgusted with me. I bought this for them after all. For the price it is superb so as a box set it does well for older children. Buy it if you have older kids or love the Harry Potter magic. Personally I feel that the films drag out a story to umpteen hours to fulfill a marketing model that makes millions.
That said I DO love the magic that is the Potter universe. These are not films that will get repetative play from me. In fact they will NEVER get play from me. I don't need to play them as (probably like all parents!) I am forced to watch them (Or one of them) almost daily. !

 Norwegian subtitles?

Great value, but I found sound quality v poor. Normally on Blue ray my speakers are set to 15 for sound. On these BR I have had to up to 25 - still not clear.
