Flight Of The Conchords: Season 1 & 2 (4 Disc)

I am in love with this show, so funny!!! Think, pants wet funny! Subtle and obvious at the same time. Brilliant, amazing characters together, I've never seen a better group together. I don't know if it's more funny or clever, because it's so much of both. I can't stop watching it over and over, especially 'The Cup' :) Favourite quote: "You'd have to be deaf to hear that".

I love this show so much, it is near perfection. My only gripe with this product is that it is actually 1 WHOLE PENNY! cheaper, to buy the 2 seasons seperatly. Come on people, there is a crunch on lol

I first heard of Flight of the Concords through their stand up act and, while many of their songs were humorous, I wasn't a huge fan. It wasn't until I was introduced to the BBC radio show, in which the writers constructed a narrative around their comedy songs that I really started to enjoy their work.

The 22 episodes spread across these two seasons now see the struggling duo living in New York and, while the songs can still be hit and miss, the deadpan comic timing of Jermaine and Bret makes for one of the best comedy double acts of recent years. The TV show also introduces two fantastic characters in The Concords ever hopeful agent Murray and the bands fan/stalker Mel. Both characters steal most scenes they are in with some brilliantly funny lines.

I have owned the series' now for a while. I simply cannot stop watching over and over again. The songs make the programme so unique and compelling. I couldnt recommend this more. Every person I have ever introduced to this programme has loved it!
I'm not a lover of American comedy (I know they are from New Zealand, but it being based in New York) but it has a better humour to some of the tripe thats comes from across the pond!
I listen to the songs so much, now have Jermaine glasses and bret style animal face jumpers. They have influenced my life! BUY IT!
