Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) is a cocky, rookie race car. Speeding on his way to a big race, he crashes into Radiator Springs, destroying lots of the inhabitants' belongings!

In order to make up for what he did, the raucous roadster is sentenced to community service. Though he will do anything to get away from the work, McQueen must learn to respect and bond with the Radiator Springs inhabitants in order to get out of the town and back on the racetrack...

After taking moviegoers magically into the realm of toys, bugs, monsters, fish, and superheroes, the masterful storytellers and technical wizards at Pixar Animation Studios (The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc.), and Academy Award-winning director John Lasseter (Toy Story, A Bug's Life), hit the road with a fast-paced comedy adventure set inside the world of cars. Fuelled with plenty of humour, action, heartfelt drama and amazing new technical feats, Cars is a high octane delight for moviegoers of all ages.

  • Deleted scenes
  • 'Inspiration For Cars': an exciting journey with John Lasseter that explores how the story of Cars was born
  • 'Mater And The Ghostlight': an exclusive new animated short created for this DVD starring Mater, the rusty but trusty tow truck!
  • 'One Man Band': the animated short film which played with the film in cinemas

Top 100  Reviewer Top 100 DVD Reviewer

I loved this movie ever since i first saw it in the cinemas when it was released. Yes it is aimed at a younger audience but the odd jokes within it are definately ones that adults can relate to. With an all star cast of voices including Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy and Michael Keaton you see the quality from the off. Its a very funny well made film and perfect for a sunday afternoon family get together. Enjoy

 Enjoyable but predictable

I found this film very enjoyable although it was extremely predictable and follows the exact plot of many similar movies before it. I would recommend it for young children however I think older children may find it boringly obvious.

 BLEW MY MIND
