How far would an ordinary father go to spend more time with his children? Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) is no ordinary father, so when he learns his ex-wife (Sally Field) needs a housekeeper, he applies for the job. With the perfect wig, a little makeup and a dress for all occasions, he becomes Mrs Doubtfire, a devoted British housekeeper, who is hired on the spot.

Free to be the 'woman' he never knew he could be, the disguised Daniel creates a whole new life with his entire family. Outrageous, hilarious and often touching, Robin Williams makes this box-office hit a film to be watched again and again.

This film is a classic and you should definitely buy it. It is full of comedy and fun. I watched it loads of times and never get bored of it. Robin Williams is a great actor acting as two people and the voices he puts on are quite funny.

Brilliant heart-warming family fun. Williams at his best. Columbus does a good direction, and the child actors are good for their ages. Plenty of laughs, and although not the typical parents get back together senerio, its still a happy ending.

 Williams best film by far.

One of thoese rare films that you can watch again and again. Robin Williams plays his best role ever as a divorce Father who with the help of his make up artist brother answers an advert ( placed by his ex wife) as a housekeeper dressed as a middle aged woman- Mrs Doubtfire.
The film has to be watched again and again not so much for the film contents but it has excllent one liners that you could miss easily. The casting is by far one of the best and yet it should be up there with planes trains and automobiles as a all time classic.

This film is amazing it portrays the emotions each individual family member has to go through when a parent divorces. The characters are just amazing and this film shows Robin Williams at his best. Robin Williams is just incredible and it is just fantastic watching him as two very different characters. Such a great film.
