From the creators of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin comes the musical animated comedy, The Princess And The Frog. This modern twist on a classic tale is set in the great city of New Orleans, features a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.

 A return to true Disney

Speaking as an animation student who grew up on Disney and Pixar, I am often opinionated about the more recent endeavours that Disney have produced, such as the High School Musical and other Disney Channel productions, and it's always been a sad thing to think of 'Home on the Range' as the last 2D Disney.
This movie, however, lived up to my expectations and more, and shows they should have never thought about closing the studios, and kept alive what it means to be a true Disney film.
The animation is stunning, very bright and colourful, and it has such an essence of fairytale mixed with a more down-to-earth storyline that it makes it one of the best Disney Princess movies to date.
The characters are all relatable, and the humour is fantastic! The music is catchy and funky, and it gets you singing along!
I'm so happy that this film was made, and hopefully we'll see a lot more REAL Disney after this.
It's got that feeling of a true Disney - that when a group of 20 year old students can go see it on the cinema release day and enjoy it so much - you know its amazing.

We went to see this as a family when we were on holiday in the states and i must say this is a superb Disney classic.
The story is great fun the animation is crisp and clean and the songs are brilliant and it feels more like the fantastic 90s Disney animations rather than some of the more lacklusture classics of recent years.
It is family friendly fun and there really is something for everyone to like here the younger kids will enjoy the songs and animation and the bigger kids will enjoy the gags i know i did.
A great film to take the whole family to with the holidays coming up and all.

 Great Fun

I love that Disney have recreated the classic Disney film. This film was so cute and really funny. I felt they could have done a little more with it, as I feel it doesnt live up to films like Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, etc, but I still liked it.

It made a nice change to watch a traditional Disney cartoon.

My four year old daughter loves all the Disney princesses and we really enjoyed "The Princess and the Frog". The trumpet playing cocodile is very funny and the voodoo man is a creepy villain. The twist in the story where the princess turns into a frog when she kisses the frog is clever and witty at times. The animation is fantastic and the songs are very good too. I just felt it wasn't as good as The Lion King, Jungle Book, Alladin or some of the many other Disney classics over the years. Still it's very good and deserves to do well at the cinema and hopefully Disney will gives us more traditional animated cartoons to look forward in the near future.

 A good return to tradition.

Exactly as good as Musker and Clements earlier efforts, so a return to the form of Disneys early 1990s classics. The animation is gorgeous, the heroine feisty and the animals amusing, but this may be too scary for the very small.
