A Christmas Carol

I brought this dvd for our 3 year old son and was told to view it before showing it to him and i am so glad that we did. Me and my husband sat down one evening to watch it and we found it quite creepy and thought that it should be at least a 12. It is definately one for older children, as i say i did enjoy it however i honestly think if we had let our son watch it, he would have been having nightmares and be terrified of christmas, it is not suitable for children under at least 10.

This is another superb animated tale from Robert Zemeckis this is just as well done as the excellent Polar Express was.
Jim Carrey is great in the lead role of Scrooge and of course our favourite funny man cant help but lend his voice to a host of other characters as well.
The animation is very well done and the 3-D was nicely added to the film and for me added a nice addition to the film.
The story is very loyal to the Dickens classic and i will be pre-ordering my copy of this as soon as it comes available and this will become a must watch Christmas classic in our household from now onwards.

The film is fantastic myself and my wife loved it, the problem is that my two boys age 7 and 8 just didn't like it. It was not suitable for young ones hence the PG rating so no surprises that there are some gruesome moments, again if you know dickens then this will come as no surprise either.

The film is fantastic and I wish I had bought the 3d version, if you have the means then go for the 3d as it will look amazing.

I saw this in the cinema and thought it was brilliant!!

A tad 'darker' than previous versions, but this adds to the entertainment!

Jim Carey is fantastic as the tight fisted Mr Scrooge.

A must have for any fan of this christmas tale

This film sticks closely to the classic story and is better for it
Jim Carrey is excellent in the tilte role and Scrooge is extremely well animated
One for the stocking!!!
