I ordered this as I liked the box it came in (according to the picture) well it didnt come in this box it came in a normal cardboard sleeve not the brown one as pictured...DVDS no doubt will be ok but just a little let down that the packaging picture does not mach
I ordered this DVD box set from Play.com based on the picture shown as the presentation box was attractive and special compared to others I have seen elsewhere.
However, when it arrived I was diappointed to find that the sturdy attractive presentation box was not there. Instead the 3 DVD's were in a much less attractive thin cardboard sleeve. It makes the trilogy box set look cheap and average instead of a nice gift item as suggested by the Play.com picture. If I had known beforehand, I would have paid extra elsewhere to ensure that I received the lovely giftbox.
The first two Lion King movies are beautiful and moving. The third film 'Hakuna Matata' is basically a re-cap of the first 2 films and offers no story line of its own.
I would personally purchase the first 2 films on their own as oppose to the Trilogy
Ordered the Box-set as a Christmas present and I'm really disappointed that the packaging is a cheaper cardboard version and not what is displayed on the site !
Would much rather pay the extra and the buy it direct from Disney ! as its part of the package and makes it look really nice !
