This is a spectacular retelling of a true story that shows courage at its inspiring best. Few defining moments can change the outcome of war . But when the outnumbered Royal Air Force defied unsurmountable odds in engaging the German Luftwaffe, they may well have altered the course of history!

Features Ron Goodwin's theatrical score or Sir William Walton's original (unused) score restored and remixed in 5.1 surround!

Probably one off the finest war movies ever made (it even manages to get a love story in it that doesn't waste the movie) the flying scenes are the finest i have ever seen and it does actually tell the story off the battle without any hollywood rubbish, and all filmed with no CGI amazing.
And if it wasn't for this movie we wouldn't be able to marvel at all the great old aeroplanes we see at air displays!!!!!!!!!!!

 Awesome film!

Quality film. Depicts the Battle from a very biased and funny British point of view with some excellent quotes from figures on both sides of the channel. I hear that there aren't many special effects in this film - most aircraft in it are real, as are the explosions. Watching this film is definitely two hours well spent.

Greatest air battle of all times

The Battle of Britain : a great and decisive moment in Britain history.
Director Guy Hamilton portrays it with a range of accomplished actors playing in a most comprehensive number of scenes : native and foreign pilots life in air bases, exhausting dogfightings with their dramatic issue, survival in bombed cities, aviators coping with personal problems, enemy confidence in victory and then haste in retreat... and much more.
Composer William Walton's extraodinary music gives inflight scenes a gigantic dimension which bears in mind what Prime Minister Winston Churchill pronounced at the end of this greatest air combat of all times to praise and honour those who restlessly and tenaciously made their duty and whom he called the Few.
A great movie.
