Whats not to like..? I dont usually sit through some arty film like this ever but I was willing to put up with 2 beautiful women having a one night stand together having sex and spending the whole film naked!! Plus on top it was a beautifully made film and well acted by 2 great actresses, its art and porn put together. The soundtrack was nice too especially the track loving strangers by Russian red.
A wonderful film, exquisitely filmed with great acting/dialogue, brilliant, well worth spending a little time digesting it.
Just seen this film. Totally erotic with 2 of the most hottest European actresses. In this flick, they meet up and spent mostly throughout the film in a room in Rome, while they have a one night stand. Beautifully directed by Julio Medem who did Sex and Lucia and Lovers of the Arctic Circle.
What a waste of money and time spent on this film. I could not even get to the ending. Dont watch it.
A lot of nudity followed by not a lot of plot. Waited for the story line to go somewhere (anywhere), it didn't. End really disappointing too. Do not buy.
*RiR (Room In Rome) is a film about 2 women that have a one-night stand. As the title suggest RiR is set almost entirely in a room in Rome! RiR has some mixed reviews and it easy to see why. On one hand RiR is well directed and has a great feel. RiR is very Arty and feels like a theatre performance at times. The biggest selling point seems to be the fact theres two beautiful women that spend the majority of the film in bed naked!!
*The films downfall seems occur when they try to introduce some kind of intellectual story line! Some people have said it is deep and not everyone understands it. Personally I found the story pointless and a failed attempt to be clever! The acting and script was also very ropey!
*If you want to watch a similar film that successfully manages to combine a deep / intellectual story and adult theme try Lucia (Also directed by Medem), 'Mulholland Drive' or even Bound or Wild Side.
Truly terrible. Don't be fooled by the cover or the reasonable price tag. This film is sadly just awful. 1 star is generous.
