From the mind of Russell T. Davis comes the highly successful show that spawned a US re-make and confirmed Davis as a talent to watch.

Stuart Jones (Aidan Gillen) has got it all. He's rich, drop-dead gorgeous and always the centre of attention. He can be forgiven the arrogance because he's pretty close to perfection. His best mate Vince Tyler (Craig Kelly) is funny, adorable and definitely a babe but, unlike his friend, has zero confidence in himself. Since time began, Vince has carried a torch for Stuart but his love remains firmly unrequited. They're both 29, hitting Canal Street every night, stalwarts of the scene but just starting to wonder where else their lives may be going.

Then along comes Nathan Maloney (Charlie Hunnam). Young, wild and coming out with a vengeance, he crowbars his way into their world and once he arrives, nothing is ever the same again.

Very good vibrant up-beat edgy TV show with a good story but loses one star due to Craig Kelly's diabolical acting. "Oh my god"

Not for the easy offended, as the film does have some soft-porn and drug abuse scenes, the film depicts life in the gay capital of the north along Canal Street. Excellent storyline, fantastic character actors. Once you begin watching the first part, you'll want to watch the whole series!

 A real break through in T.V !

Before this there was Hardly any t.v programes that showed the real side of Gay life..... and Channel 4 did not just break the mould the SMASHED IT !
this programe is Amazing but in some scenes rather Graphic ! ( but im not complaining )

Who'd have thought that this ground breaking TV program would still be setting the standard 15 years on.
OMG There's been nothing like it since!
Sadly only 2 series were ever made, plus a much weaker US version.
Still can't beat the original night at Babylon!
