If 'Twilight' was about finding true love then New Moon is about losing it. The real question is which team is Bella on: Team Edward or Team Jacob? Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner light the darkness in this supernaturally good take on Stephenie Meyer's fantasy novel.

This next instalment of The Twilight Saga sees Bella Swan devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen, but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of werewolves, the ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

With more of the passion, action and suspense that made Twilight a smash hit, The Twilight Saga: New Moon is a spellbinding follow-up to the international box office phenomenon.

New Moon is fantastic - if for no other reason than that it is a 100 times more faithful to the book than Twilight ever was. Yes, scenes are missing and some condensed but that is only to be expected with the time constraints. I can understand if those who haven't read the books found it boring but it really is a true representation of the book and the emotions contained within it.

For "Graziellas" - with regard to your queries: As they didn't do the blood type scene in Twilight (HUGE mistake) I guess they felt it wasn't necessary to highlight her aversion to blood in New Moon. You need to read Breaking Dawn to understand why Alice's & Jasper's gifts work on Bella but not those of Edward, Aro & Jane. As for Carlisle, it's as he said in the film - Edward can't live without Bella and he will not lose Edward therefore, although it goes against everything he has ever done before, he really does not have a choice because the only way to not lose his son is to give immortality to the woman he loves.

Having watched this film 9 times at the cinema and racking up 6 times on dvd since getting it on Saturday I can't recommend it highly enough - but then I am a Twi-hard!!

 Not at all special

After watching Twilight I was expecting great things of this movie and could not wait to see it but I was so disappointed.

I personally loved Twilight, it was very true to the book and I thought it was a excellent film that left you wanting more.

New Moon was just nothing special and unlike Twilight I did not want to watch it over and over again.....I almost never wanted to see it again. It starts off great, very true to the book and I could see potential but it is very slow and I found myself losing interest after about 20 minutes. Also if you like Edward you will be very disappointed as he is not in much of the film. This film was needed because you had to see the friendship and love develop between Bella and Jacob but I thought they could have made it better. The soundtrack is nowhere near as good as Twilight and the CGI werewolves are awful.

I personally did not like the choice of Director, they should of chosen someone with a bit more experience. They should of kept Catherine Hardwicke, she did a fantastic job!
The Twilight Saga is basically a Fairytale love story, I didn't feel New Moon delivered much of the spark and excitement Twilight did.

If you love the books, you should and will probably watch it anyway, it's very true to the book but like I said, New Moon isn't the best book of the series.
Also if you loved Twilight, don't get your hopes up for this as it is nowhere near as good.
It's a important and crucial part of the saga as it needs to show how the characters develop and form bonds but I just think it could of been made better.

I myself am looking forward to Eclipse the most as it's a fantastic book and David Slade is a fantastic director - if you've seen 30 days of night you will know what I mean.

Overall - watch it if you love the books and just want to see how it was done but don't expect big things.
