This is most definitely one of the years top movies, action packed from start to finish with a very cool story thats well paced throughout! The cast is brilliant every person involved is great to watch and the special effects are top notch, the world of Priest looks amazing a very fantasy art type of futuristic landscape, this is a fresh take on the vampire genre and one of the best in a long time, it only runs at just under an hour and a half which is a shame I would love a sequel. This is most certainly one to watch! There are some good special features too.

Loved this movie. Had high expectations for it and I was not disappointed. The movie is based on a graphic novel but I didn't know that until after I seen the film. Lots of action sequences, great acting and the vampires looked spectacular! The writing was great and there wasn't a moment where I wanted to stop watching. I highly recommend to action/vampire movie-based lovers!

Different take on the normal vampire thing with a nice dark/gothic feel to it, plenty of action with some good set pieces and Maggie Q looks the part. Possibly could be a bit much for some kids and somewhat surprised it was not a 15.

Top 100 DVD Reviewer

thoroughly enjoyed this film, martial arts trained priest with an array of fancy knives goes against his orders to track down vampires. the vampires are grotesque looking things super fast n strong, paul bettany is great as the priest n asian martial arts star maggie q gives good support, would have loved film to be longer but thats a small gripe, good film offering a slightly different take on vampires.

A priest disobeys church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece. Not exactly an unholy mess, but still a rather too pious retread of classic sci-fi/action/horror riffs that lacks originality.
