True Blood: Seasons 1 & 2 Box Set (10 Discs)

Series 1 and 2 of True Blood are so exciting. For those that are unaware they are based around a series of books, of which I have read the first - and in my opinion the tv adaption is actually better than the book!!

HBO have used the basics of the book to produce a thrilling drama. It's gory, explicit, sexy and upsetting - so not for the faint hearted. The actual idea and 'rules' of vampire in True Blood is more traditionalist and realistic... if vampires were to exist. i.e. they sleep under ground, come out at night, drink blood.

Grips you from the start and is unlike any vampire series around at the moment. Can't wait for Series 3!

Ignore Hayley's review, she has only seen 3 episodes, personally I dont see a point in reviewing something when you have only watched the first 3 episodes, especially a box set with series 1 and 2.

Anyway, this is an awesome series if you are into vampires, yes there is blood drinking in it, they are vampires for freaks sake! And yes its a 18 cert for a reason, yes there is sex in it, yes there are deaths in it, yes there is gore in it.

So many great things go on in these seriesm I cannot wait for series 3 to air.

I watched a few episodes of true blood, expecting it to be like twilighteyy, kindof thing...
yeah its not!!!
Its gruesome, with some really gross bits in it...
not really for twilight fans :)
and the guy in it has a really freaky accent...

But i guess if you like the gruesome blood drinking vampirey vamps, this series would excellent

True Blood is a fantastic show! Everybody (Okay, those over 18) should check it out - it's truly amazing! I just know you'll love it.

I just wanted to say.. Why have u got to ignore someone elses review because u don't agree with it... It's their opinion and I font think it's fair for Kindofagirl to slate someone else because they love the show. The reason why people make pilot episodes is because it's supposed to enthrall the audience by the end of the 1st episode.. So if someone have given it 3 episodes and still thought it was bad.. Well that's their opinion.. U should love it by the first episode and if u still can't after trying for 3 episodes then.. Well, at least u didn't write it off after the first and tried to like it.. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Personally. This show is a gem.. Relentless and powerful... Never subtle and always gritty.. This show gets my bite!!!
