A ramped-up techno soundtrack bleats out adrenaline-pumping action tunes while leather-clad vampire slayers smash through walls and floors and ceilings, break windows with their bodies, and occasionally defy gravity. Cascades of flying glass sparkle in the air and crimson pools of blood shine on the floors of warehouse dens where the hungry creatures hide.

This is BLADE: TRINITY, the third installment of the film series adapted from Marvel comics. Here, a new challenge faces the preternaturally sharp hunter, Blade (Wesley Snipes), when a group of vamps resurrect the long-slumbering "Drake" (Dominic Purcell)--the ancient and all-powerful Count Dracula--and Blade meets the ultimate opponent. Teaming up with the Nightstalkers, a group of similar-minded hunters led by tough slayer-hottie Abigail (Jessica Biel) and her joke-a-minute partner Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), Blade is ready for battle. However, Drake's handlers are an unruly bunch themselves, with sassy goth wench Danica (Parker Posey in a wonderfully exaggerated performance) doing her best to make things as unpleasant as possible. What's more, while Danica's vamp team is harvesting homeless people for their blood, the Nightstalkers' scientist creates a potion that can not only kill Drake but can take the entire bloodsucking race with him. And thus, David S. Goyer continues the BLADE cinema series, satisfying fans with plenty of the nocturnal monster mystique they so desperately crave.

 brilliant

i have to disagree with all the other reviews on this film. it was without a shadow of a doubt thee best blade film of the trilogy. blade may have taken a step back but he is still their kickin ass as per. the newer characters are brilliant and well worth watching e.g. the non stop sarcasm of hannibal king(which is brill). and as for the dracula character he was top notch. he had kick ass armour and was totally believable. in addition to the great cast it also had, in my opinion, a fantastic soundtrack. i have watched it on many an occasion. even the bonus features match the excellence of the film.so all in all this film is well worth the price tag.

I have noticed that this had got some very bad reviews compared to the others maybe this is because they reduced the gore and the fact that Blade (Snipes) doesnt feature in it much. But however i highly enjoyed thid film as it had cool action and a pretty good plot plus they put the legendary Dracula in it this time to take on Blade in the final battle. If you liked the previous two then you are sure to like this one. Enjoy

Certainly the weakest of the Blade trilogy 'Trinity' is still no disaster, and is certainly not the cinematic travesty many critics declared it was on its initial cinematic release. The problems, however, do become apparent quite quickly - much as the film is stylishly shot and the action well staged Blade quickly becomes a mere background character as soon as the new blood - namely the Nightstalkers - are introduced. And whether or not you'll like them will generally depend on whether you're happy with Jessica Biel looking generally sexy and athletic (no problem there) and Ryan Reynolds swearing a lot (amusing in small doses). Furthermore having Dracula as your main villain does kind of smack of over ambition - surely Dracula is THE vampire to beat all vampires and even Blade wouldn't stand a chance against him. Also, with Dracula poorly portrayed by a less than successful Dominic Purcell (Prison Break) the air of threat and menace present in the second installment is sadly missing here. Then there's Parker Posey hamming it up as Danica Talos and destroying a lot of her credibility in the process. But still there's a lot of enjoyment to be had from the Daywalkers third outing - the SFX are impressive enough and the Nightwalkers actually add a freshness to what could have become a stale 'Blade against the World' template had the franchise been allowed to continue. And the DVD is certainly no letdown - as with 'Blade II' we get a fascinating in-depth documentary covering all aspects of the production as well as an alternate, deleted ending featuring a vampire/werewolf hybrid that shows how awful the film could have been. If you're a fan of the franchise and the character then certainly give it a go, it's no worse than countless other third outings. But perhaps the time has come for Blade to hand over the reigns to a younger generation. Nightstalkers - The Movie, anyone?

This is a brilliant ending to the trilogy of Blade and his endless quest to kill all his enemy - Vampire!!!
Just as with the first 2 films ther is loads of action and violence with even more weapons and more dangerous vampires to face - Count Dracula, that again give us some brilliant fight scenes!! (Check out Triple H from the Wwe as one hard, mean Vampire with some amazing moves).
All in all this is a must see as are the previous two and again if you havent seen this or any of the others then check them out now!!!!

dont get this on its own!

i got this as part of the blade trilogy dvd, and glad i did, because if i had forked out money just for this film alone, i would have been more disappointed than i was! at the beginning, it was good, the old formula-blade,whistler. then blade takes a back seat to some newbies.yeah, the comedy was good, but it sorely lacked.as for the dracula role-pants!!! the guy who played him was neither scary, good, or believable, who had absolutely no depth to his character! i think what summed this movie up, was the 'vampire-dog/hybrids'! a Chihuahua vampire dog, for heavens sake!!!! hope mr snipes has realised that this franchise has gone its distance.so, in summary, to save money, get blade trilogy, as you have 2 fantastic movies in 1&2,a couple of good scenes in 3, but at least you dont feel you have wasted so much money.
