This is the third instalment of the film series adapted from Marvel comics. Here, a new challenge faces the preternaturally sharp hunter, Blade (Wesley Snipes), when a group of vamps resurrect the long-slumbering "Drake" (Dominic Purcell)--the ancient and all-powerful Count Dracula--and Blade meets the ultimate opponent. Teaming up with the Nightstalkers, a group of similar-minded hunters led by tough slayer-hottie Abigail (Jessica Biel) and her joke-a-minute partner Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), Blade is ready for battle.

However, Drake's handlers are an unruly bunch themselves, with sassy goth wench Danica (Parker Posey in a wonderfully exaggerated performance) doing her best to make things as unpleasant as possible. What's more, while Danica's vamp team is harvesting homeless people for their blood, the Nightstalkers' scientist creates a potion that can not only kill Drake but can take the entire bloodsucking race with him. And thus, David S. Goyer continues the Blade cinema series, satisfying fans with plenty of the nocturnal monster mystique they so desperately crave.

This is the weekest entry in the trilogy, Blade is more of a camio character than the main star. With time taken on the new clan of vampire hunters lead Jessica Beil and Ryan Renolds. I have to say that Renolds is brilliant in this, and is the star of the whole movie. Beil is eye candy but proves a pretty formiddable ass kicker. The head vampire this time is what the original dracular is based on and supposed to be the first vampie. The action is everything you could expect from the Blade movies. But the hole film seems tired and needs a breath of fresh air. This DVD contains both the cinema version and the extended cut. The extended cut has a few new seens and a slightly different ending. But does not add really anything to the film. So in all, this is a good pop corn film and very well made, but after the Excellent Blade2, it does seem pretty run of the mill. It's still worth buying to complete the trilogy !

...Ryan Reynolds, who's clearly having a ball as Hannibal King and knows how to wisecrack; plus he is really pumped up too. Dominic Purcell, pre-Prison Break as the ultimate vampire and sexy Jessica Biel as Abigail Whistler - smokin' hot!

Wesley Snipes looks tired and skinny, but the above reasons alone are worth watching it for.

     A marmite of a movie!!

You either love it are hate it , this movie is no were near as good as the 1st two , but in saying that i think goyer was trying to make more like a comic book movie which chessy lines , the jokes it did have more of a comic book feel to it and it was good i enjoyed it as im a huge marvel fan , it really a hit miss for the fans but this is my review

     Awful end to the trilogy...

I'm a Blade fan and bought this DVD simply to complete the trilogy. The first two films are cool, action-packed and pretty intense. This one is awful. The introduction of the two sidekicks wrongfully makes Blade more of a secondary character. This film isn't as hard or edgy as the first two and has stupid one liners every two minutes. The acting is pretty bad from everyone involved (even Snipes). Give it a miss or buy either or the first two films if you're looking for a good vampire/ action film.
