Welcome to the Moulin Rouge! Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor sing, dance and scale the heights of passionate abandon in this most talked-about movie from visionary director Baz Luhrmann (William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet, Strictly Ballroom). Enter a tantalizing world that celebrates truth, beauty, freedom and above all things, love.

I don't get what all the fuss is about...

I watched this DVD after many of my friends recommended it to me. Sorry, but I really hated it. I thought it was boring and dragged on. I only gave it 2 stars because I love the soundtrack. It has received other great reviews so mayve it's just me but this was just one big disappointment.

This film is amazing something you must see. The songs within this film are great a prefect sound track for the film and story line.

Love story for people who dont like love stories!!!

When my friend rang me to see if I wanted to go and see Moulin Rouge I was not at all keen as it just did not seem my kind of film at all. I was SSSOOO wrong. It was just incredible. Ewan McGregor can really sing as well (which does help when you are in a musical). Nicole Kidman was also great. There was just so much story. I loved the fact that they made modern songs sound so great. Ewan is also very gorgeous and I actually fell in love with him. great family film

 Moulin Rouge - WOW

I am not a lot into love stories although watching a very good one, i won't mind. But watching moulin rouge is another story. It is afer all a love story but seeing all that scenary, enjoying how the songs link the movie, and enjoying mostly nicole kidman and her acting is worth the movie. All acting was of high class and direction and story are WOW. One of the best muscicals ever made. A must see for everyone.

 My Absolute Favourite! Literally

There are so many things i can say about this film, i watched it not because of what i had heard about it but because im a fan of Mcgregor but when i did see it i instantly understood why there was so much fuss when it came out, the singing from both Satine (Kidman) and Christian (Mcgregor) is unbelievable and i found myself googling whether it was them singing but watching the film for a second time you can just tell, the fun upbeat singing would make anybody love LOVE... the storyline is also exciting with a range of characters which make the film even better. Lurhman adds his touch to the film with some bits being strange but thats what makes it more enjoyable i think. I would recommend highly.
