Prince stars here with a young Kristin Scott Thomas in a pretty good musical. The storyline isn`t the best but the songs are all brilliant classics from the Parade album. Cleverly shot in black and white too gives it that bit extra.

 nice forgotten classic

first of all. this is a movie by a musical artist. so if you want brando or de niro, dont buy this. but if you like the corny and fun feel of an artist making a movie, this is way better than any movie by any artist i have ever seen. its funny, there is good music and the story is not too bad. and prince himself does not make a bad job either. overall, a nice movie for nice people, if you dont wanna watch brando of course...
