I have watched this series unfold on Sky Atlantic since it came on screen. I have fallen in love with the characters and I cannot divulge the story line as you really should watch it!!!
The songs in it are sang to such a high degree I have even found myself tapping my feet and singing along with the cast. Even my daughter loves this program and for her to agree with me goes an awfully long way. We can't wait for the next episode and I have already Pre-ordered the dvds now all I have to do is sit and wait for it to come out!!! Please take a look at this as it really is a great concept built around one of cinemas iconic actresses of the 20th century. She was and still is one of the actresses that brought men to their knees.
To finish off I must also rave about the cast. They couldn't have found actors any better than they have. They all embody their character to their utmost and their love of this show is shown in how well they play their parts. I'm so pleased to have given this show a chance when I accidently put it on thinking that "nothing was on tv" when in fact something brilliant was about to begin!!!
fantastic show. this has the right amount of drama and campness but with a more backbone story line. cant wait for series 2!
Loved every episode of this tv series smash, my husband as just bought me the dvd collection and also the cd, great dances, singing and acting from all the crew xxx this is the one to watch in 2012 xx
if your a lover of Glee, this is the mature version. Every episode features a well written toe tapping number, you will fall in love with some characters and hate other.. You will want to jump straight to the next episode to continue this roller coaster ride of enjoyment. Roll on season 2. A definite buy if you love musicals. Great characters Great Music
