Being a HUGE Phantom of the Opera fan having both the film and 25th anniversary production on dvd, i had to get this, I had seen it twice in london and loved it, this version was good but the London show was so much better, some of the actors were good but others were just dreadful take the guy playing the Phantom, he completely killed some of the songs, im not saying this is a bad dvd im just saying they should have done a recording of the London production because it would have been so much better
I was lucky enough to see the original London production and this revamped Australian version is just as good.
The Phantom is brilliant just a great shame that Ramin was unable to star in this.
This is not the London performance, which is a shame as some of the sets in London were far better than the Melbourne Sets. Overall a very good show.

The songs are fabulous Ben Anna and the boy who played Gustave sang with real feeling and passion. Sharon Millerchip was the double of Daisy from Keeping up appearances which spoilt it for me .The costumes are incredible and overall I enjoyed it and I feel it was worth the money.
