I am a very recent convert to this show. Without doubt the Cast, Producers & Director have created a memorable, show stopping film. Donny Osmond is just outstanding in this role. Certainly I can't see Maria Friedman being upstaged in her role, her input is amazing. Buy it right now, you will never regret it.
I bought this expecting a recording of a theatre performance, but i was wrong. It starts in a school hall with the teachers playing parts in the production and then Donny Osmond turns up as Joseph! It is terribly acted and rather disappointing really. it seems like a very cheap production of a fantastic musical, which is a shame as the musical itself is stunning. This dvd is just about watchable, the singing is actually the only plus about the dvd but i wouldnt waste £7 personally.
Fantastic Production of the Musical. I had it on video previously and decided to buy it on DVD, its also the cheapest price around. The cast is great and Donny Osmond plays the role well. The songs are considerably well done, i prefered them to the original cast recording with Jason Donavon as Joseph. Highly Recommended.
We have watched this time and time again and think it is great.
Also very child friendly as great tunes and visually stunning!
What a great way to introduce children to the world of musicals!!
Would reccmmend to anyone!
Excellent..the narrator has a wonderfully clear voice as has Donny Osmond and the entire presentation is exceptional
