Predators

Ok so the main actor doesnt have the presence of a 7 time Mr Olympia! Come On Guys!!! I'm not quite sure what the last few reviews expected and wether they want some great plot and twists in the movie but this is an action movie. I thought it was great, definately more akin to the original than the farcical sequal where they try takng it to the streets, and never liked the AvP films either, for what itz worth thought the lead role was played very well and this is definately the closest you'll get to the original. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the stellar cast in Predator will never be beaten, it is a timeless classic but this was still a very good film.

I am a massive fan of the Predator series. I even enjoyed AVP. AVP2 was not a good addition to the series but still watchable compared to this garbage. This was one of the "must see" films my mates and I were waiting in anticipation for. Turned out to be a terrible attempt at a so called sequel. It felt like a bad remake of the original film. Adrian Brody as the all action hero is probably the worst casting error in the history of casting errors. Made absolutely no sense at all, no answers as to how they got there, just a bad film on all levels. Don't know how the other reviewers gave this 4stars pus. They cannot be genuine fans of the predator series. I would wait until this is in the bargain box for a fiver and I'm sure it won't be long before it is. Rubbish!!!!!!!!!

Its about time we got a predator sequel after all these years! And it was worth the wait, any fan will love this new film, the story is great and having it set on a predator planet means you can play around and change the rules, and see things from the predator angle with a band of humans stuck there for the ultimate hunt. The story is pretty straight forward but loads of fun, the cast is great and all have good parts to play. The effects are great, the classic predators are badass as ever and the new ones are cool too and bigger! There is so many good homages to the original movie which is the one people mainly want to remember anyway. Great gory fun for any fan or anybody who generally loves a great sci-fi.

Predators opens at a fast pace we find our star Adrian Brody falling through the sky pushed out of a ship he awakens in time for his parachute to open as he lands in a dense jungle.
It turns out he is not alone as more and more people fall from the sky it soon becomes apparent that these people are here for a reason we have a marine, CIA agent and a army officer etc.
They formulate a plan to escape the jungle but soon come up against more than they bargained for, Soon they are being hunted by a hunter they cannot see something that is not of this planet.
Enter the Predators and here we meet a new breed of Predators these are bigger and more cunning than the Predators we have seen before.
The film moves at a great pace and has plenty to keep any action fan happy for an hour and forty minutes, The casting is good all the characters play their parts well and the films hero Adrian Brody is much better than I expected him to be.
This latest instalment in the Predators franchise is much better than the poor Alien crossovers but is still not of the same class as the original and even the highly underrated sequel which for me was much better than it got credit for.
If you like a good action film or are a fan of the original Predator films im sure you like me will find this a good addition to the franchise in its own right.

This was not a bad effort and certainly better than Predator 2 which was a real disapointment , although wished they had brought back John McTiernan to have directed this to give it a better chance.
The cast was good but think there were too many scenes being copied , obviously to pay homage to the original film but think it spoiled what was a good movie , with the exception of the music which was excellently done , it was like it was cut from the same cloth but not an exact copy like they did in Predator 2.
I'm an absolute huge fan of the first and that I think its inevitable that any sequel will disapoint as the original really was a one off never to be captured again.
