WWE: Backlash 2009

Backlash is always a good Pay Per View, it settles issues from Wrestlemania and creates new one's too, excellent action at this Backlash, Jack Swagger vs Christian is a good bout, Ricky Steamboat puts on a great performance against Chris Jericho, CM Punk vs Kane was thrown on the PPV at the last minute and was an ok match, The Hardys match was great as expected, Triple H, Batista & Shane McMahon vs Randy Orton and The Legacy was a great match, after Orton/HHH having a dissapointing match at Wrestlemania, this deffinatly made up for it, then there is the main event, John Cena defending the title against Edge, another boring John Cena title reign, both Edge and Cena have been over exposed to the World title but this was a good match with a great moment in it.

All in all a great Pay Per View in what is a very good year for WWE so far.

Brilliant world title matches between John Cena v Edge and Triple H and Randy Orton in a 6 man tag team match. Solid matches for the rest of the event. This was actually better than the failure of WrestleMania 25 the previous month.

Coming off the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania WWE rivalries intensify! ECW CHAMPIONSHIP- a good opener both men showed great momentum.3/5
I QUIT MATCH- brillent match one of the best matches of the night.4.5/5
6-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP -great match the only problem was that orten won the match so if orten had not won I would have given this match a 5/5 but its a 4/5.
RICKY "THE DRAGON"STEAMBOAT VS CHRIS JERICHO -really not the best match quite a dissapointment attually.1.5/5
CM PUNK VS KANE - average match so 3/5 .
LAST MAN STANDING MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE - best match of the night I could not belive the oltimite opetunest has struck again well attually the BIG SHOW!EDGE won after BIG SHOW chokeslamd Cena through a spot light! 5/5
