Tyson: The Movie - Platinum Knockout Edition (2 Discs)

Well, I only just received this dvd yesterday but have watched disk 1 nearly twice and half of disk 2(which is very long with full fights). I think that says something in itself.
I never saw much of Mike Tyson when i was younger and just thought he was a nutter as he is portrayed. My brother met him on a flight from L.A. about 5 years back and he was apparantely very nice and took pictures and everything and chatted, which really surprised me at the time. I was like ''weren't you scared of him?''
This dvd shows Mike Tyson is clearly very down to earth, brutally honest and insane all at the same time. He seems to be extremely respectful but extrmely forcefull at the same time. Personally i would love to meet him. He seems to have such a great personality and could talk for hours to him about his intriguing life, thinking i understood him only to be left confused at the end.
Some of the things he says really confuses me, but only he knows what is triggering these things. However for the important characteristics like integrity, determinaton, power and respect, Mike seems to exhibit them in abundance, which i could feel immensely.
I will certainly be watching this dvd again(probably tonight) to try and understand the finer sides to Tyson, but most importantly to see his desire and the rawing inferno inside his mind and his devastating boxing skills. PLZ BUY THIS! at this price it's superb.

I would highly recommend this DVD to any boxing/sports fan. An intruiging documentary into what makes Iron Mike Tyson tick, very interesting viewing. Plus, bonus features that include almost 4 hours of Kid Dymamites most sensational, ferocious early career wins. amazing value for money. A must-have at under a tenner... Buy it now. This is the best collection of footage I have ever seen of all of Tyson's classic fights and post fight interviews along with in depth interviews on his career, relationships, criminal activity and his children. Tyson is such a sporting legend and this is a must have for all sports fans.

Very interesting stuff. This interview allows you to see a more human side of Tyson. Its easy to forget there's a person behind the scary image he puts across in the ring. Now, I'm a 25 year old woman so it may be surprising to people that I loved the extras on this DVD. Highlights from Tyson's best fights had me in awe. Its unbelievable how he fought when he was in his prime and happy doing what he loved. I find it hard to believe anyone could have taken him on had he remained dedicated. For me he is one of the greatest of all time. I think everyone would find this documentary interesting, great stuff.
