THE HORSEMAN please dont get confused with the dennis Quaid
rubbish .Australian gem of a film MAD MAX , LONG WEEKEND,
ROAD GAMES, RAZORBACK CHOPPER ,this film belongs in that
great list balls to the wall film makeing bone snapping blood speckled jaw chrunching nail biting suspense .....and breath you will be shouting at the tv and if not your dead inside.
this was a waste of time acting was a joke overall thought i would take a chance on this one heard a review on 5 live one night the guy said one of the most brutal films he d seen More violance in a dog fight or cat fight please don t waste you re money no matter how cheap it is
This movie will have you peeking through your fingers at the screen, your imagination running wild at what you might see next. More torturous than Hostel with a nice road movie feel thrown in - together with well developed characters. Absolutely loved this movie - but it!!
Steven Kastrissios' The Horseman Austrailian revenge movie. The story is pretty straight forward, what makes it stand out for me is the excellent performances and the realistic portrayal of everyone involved, not like the pantomine righteous good vs evil you usually find in these sorts of movie, especially Peter Marshall who makes the main character likeable venerable, sympathetic character despite the things he does in it.
Highly recommended
Wonderful film left me gasping for more, frantic pace, frantic violence, edgy and realistic! A nice twist and a good pay off towards the end to ensure that this will be one will reap acclaim and celebrated cult status. If I was personally going to get revenge having been savagely wronged (a la average Jo pest controller) then id pretty much follow the same corrective pathways he has! You really end up cheering for our hero as he exterminates his way through Aussie low lives in search of the guy who called all the shots on the little home movie he receives. Was on the edge of my seat, and suffered many palpitations during the movies running time....rates as one of my films of the year and you need to buy it a spread the word 10/10
