Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship *****
John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
My favourite match of the event, what a match that had some pretty damn good shockers. An early Sweet Chin Music to his partner HHH was a shock when all of us was surprised to see what HBK did. HBK in my mind deserved to walk out the champ. HHH was also impressive and slammed HBK through an announcers table and both DX members should be applauded for their performance.
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match ***
Team Mickie (Mickie James, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Melina & Gail Kim) vs. Team Michelle (Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layla & Alicia Fox
I say that for the divas Survivor Series elimination tag match that it weren't2bad, all divas performed very well and a shock of the Glamazon being eliminated was a surprise. But the lovely Melina and Mickie were the last two when Melina pinned Michelle for the win.
Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship ***
Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Chris Jericho
An average triple threat match that weren't really exciting but watchable with some great spots. It was great to see Y2J and Big Show turn on each towards the end of the match. Taker weren't really performing well in this match but he walked out the WHC.
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match ****
Team Kingston (Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry, ECW Champion Christian & R-Truth) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase & William Regal)
Another great Survivor Series elimination tag match and both captains Orton and Kofi chose some great talent. I would say that Orton and Punk were the best two in the Orton team but Kofi and Christian were the best in the Kofi team. A smashing finish by Kofi who hit the Trouble in Paradise on Orton for the victory
Rey Mysterio vs. Batista **
An average match really between Rey Rey and Batista, nothing really special but Batista does however punish Rey Rey with lots of spinebusters where one of them was onto a steel chair.
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match *****
Team Morrison (John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin & Finlay) vs. Team Miz (The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger)
I really enjoyed this opening match with some of the new generation supestars that we have in the WWE. It was great to see both The Miz and John Morrison as team captains and both captains selected some great talent. I would say that Sheamus and Drew McIntyre were the stars of this match with the great moves and finishers that they both have. A really great match which dosen't get boring.
