For those of you uncertain about this purchase, the plus points are;
1. Full 16;9 sceen size at last
2. Better picture quality than that served up via MOTD Freeview
3. Avoids the over 'artistic' presentation of the 2005/6 season disc
4. Those stunning goals
The negative points are;
1.Picture quality varies quite a lot from ground to ground
2.Presentation is simplified to the point of austerity, lacking the 'artistic' pretensions of previous discs
3. Although the match commentator doesn't scream, his pal sitting next to him does, and this really irritates after a while .
But on balance, this is still a worthwhile watch, containing as it does those magnificent performances from Drogba, Malouda and Lampard at the same time as that inexplicably erratic defence.
