the series is the best ever great efects recomend to everybody
Without the BBC you would not get things like this, perhaps we should remember this in years t come. Merlin like Dr Who is good family entertainment and I can only recommend this for the acting stories and the effects. The second series is better than the first but you do not have to have seen the first to enjoy this one. Colin Morgan an Unknown is great as Merlin and the supporting cast of Richard Wilson and Anthony Head are also great. buy and enjoy
Absolutely fantastic cant wait for series 3 - I read the books when I was a little girl and loved them the televised seriesis very true to the books and my imagination. These DVD's are timeless and are good for all thge family to watch- Keep the series going PLEASE
Loved the first series and now they have gone one step further and made it even better! Great stories and now that morgana has come to hate uther and take her rightful path with mordrid it can only get better again. Merlin and Arthur show great chemstry with each other and will have you laughing all the way through. Top action and fantasy and great family fun. Cant wait for the third series to come out on DVD.
This is the a brilliant series best one of the series of which i have seen. I would recommend to everyone to watch it.
i loved this show, its shows some background, which you can believe, it has great actors in it like Anthony S Head from Buffy the Vampire Slayer but it also has new actors like Colin Morgan and Bradley James, making it a great joy to watch, great to watch should buy great value for money
You're prepared to believe multicultralism was around in this era and equality existed. If you can then ignore the wooden acting, make up, modern hair styles, Doberman dogs (which weren't around for centuries) and the discourse between Arthur and Merlin usually being ''Merlin are you a complete fool''... '' um like no Arthur'' then it's for you.
I will say that it will appeal to children under 10 and has enough effects and wizardry to keep them entertained. Just a shame we have to settle for such dire acting and effort on the part of the BBC.
