Excellent, quirky and addictive, this show blends the mundane and the supernatural, and intense drama with humour, in a way that calls to mind Buffy at its best while remaining quite distinctive in its own right. Great acting and some fine stories, though newcomers would of course be better advised to start with Series 1. And be aware that with only 8 1-hour episodes, it won't be an 8-disc set. This site has probably got it confused with the full Series 1-3 set - I think that does stretch to 8 discs.
This series has some very strong writing and excellent plotting over it's 8 episodes, which leads to a very powerful finale. Series 4 should prove very interesting following the shake-up at the end. The acting is strong, the stories powerful. Being Human has hit a very confident stride.
