absolutly Brilliant show ignore any bad reviews from previous reviewers as this is one of the funnest shows of the 90's. Wish it would come back
I used to watch this series religiously when it was on the box and recently purchased Series 3 as an Xmas present and Series 5 (2 DVDs) for myself as a 'pick me up' as I'd got the dreaded lurgy, tucked up in bed and feeling sorry for myself Well, needless to say I laughed that much that I coughed and spluttered even more but it did me the world of good and perked me up no end. I can highly recommend these DVDs. It just proves you can crack up laughing with good clean innocent fun without having to have sex or foul language invovled which seems a rariety these days - who needs it?? when you've got a fantastic duo between Jasper Carrott and Robert Powell who must have had a brilliant time making the series. All credit to Steve Knight and Mike Whitehill the writters. I shall now be purchasing the rest of the DVDs to ensure I have a complete set when ever I need cheering up. Bravo Detectives!!
