I must be the last person to watch this series!!!
If you like me have not seen this then buy straight away...dont worry about reading all the reviews...this is better than royal family, faulty towers and fools!!! It doesnt have people laughing in the background like many sitcoms, and trust me you will laugh no less than 10 times in the 1st episode. BUY NOW!!!
Oh, Oh, Oh!! Whats occuring.... a brilliant series thats what... Had me absolute stitches, a must buy!
We had never watched this show when it was first aired on the BBC as i am not a fan of James Corden but after seeing this season for such a bargain price i decided to give it a go.
And all i can say is im very glad i did the show is a laugh a minute superbly written and cast every character is brilliant Gavin and Stacey are great together and with Smithy and Nessa alongside them you have to love this show.
Anyone who loves comedy must like this show and i cannot wait to get my hands on season 2 of this show and have pre-ordered series3 as well im completley addicted to this lush show lol.
I bought the series 1 boxset feeling like I was missing out on something; everyone is raving about this funny sitcom which has taken England by storm! I watched the first episode and had the odd chuckle but didn't really see what the fuss was about...until I felt an urge to watch another and so on. The jokes are the characters and like any series you need to get to know them. The two writers have the funniest lines (of course) followed by the parents and relatives. I didn't always find myself laughing uncontrolably, more a chuckle here and there, but this is what makes Gavin and Stacey stand out from all the rest - it's not stupid or toilet humour, it's clever and subtle making it a pleasant and very enjoyable change.
I really hope Series 3 gets the go ahead!
The best thing on telly this year!!!!!
Roll on series 2 i cant wait for it!
