Loved when it was first aired, love it now. The thought that some idiot at the BBC rejected the scripts for a fourth series, passing it off as too dated for todays audience makes me laugh, almost as much as this DVD!

I'ts a real shame that they stopped doin Bottom, its got to be the most hilarious comedy ever! unlike other comedy programs every single episode will have you wetting yourself!!! Richie is desperate to have sex with anything that moves and eddie is full blown alcoholic!!! you can actually imagine 2 guys living together like this in real life!!
Some people might think this show is just pure filth and nothing but bottom humar and bad language, well it is!!!

Rik Mayall is flawless playing Richard Richard. His expression on his dirty knowing face takes the whole show/comedy. Forget Young Ones and French And Saunders rubbish. This is a proper British comedy. Get this DVD and I promise you that you won't be 1% disappointed at all. Buy it now. And may I say, what a smashing blouse you have on?

I love Bottom, its absolutely brilliant. Every epsidode can make you laugh in an instant no matter how your feeling. If you like immature comedy like myself, this must be bought!

This has got to be the best comedy series ever for me, these guys are hilarious and deserve more than five stars. There is not a single episode I do not enjoy nor a single moment when I am not laughing. The jokes never get old and I will never get bored of seeing these two at work. Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson are legends. Simply fantastic.

This for me is my personal favourite Comedy of all time. This follows the madcap lives of Eddie and Richie.
The comedy is all Slapstick and Toliet Humour but ats its simple best. One of the best sitcoms to come out of England which i still just as funny as i did when it was first released.

Bottom is just a great series, hilarious, Rik & Ade are absolute legends, my only complaint is that the show didn't last longer, wish there had been more series but ah well, we got the live shows instead & they're laugh out loud funny too. Most of these episodes have me in tears with laughter, the way these 2 beat eachother up has me in stitches, its wild manic slapstick at its best, no one does it better than Rik Mayall & Adrian Edmondson. I've watched all the episodes so many times & it never fails to cheer me up, I LOVE IT, its class.

By far the best comedy ever made by the BBC. Where was the 4th series? I hoped the person who rejected it got the sack because every show of all 3 series is hilarious. You won't find one that you don't like.
Rik mayall and Adrian edmonson play two lonely people living in hammersmith with no money, no friends and no life really and end up getting themselves into some histerically funny situations trying to correct all of them. If your doubting whether to get this box set or not i can only stronly suggest that you do. You won't be disapointed at all!

There is perfection and above that is a level that 'Bottom' operates on in my eyes, it is untouchable and above anything before or previous and something that wouldn't be commissioned today. I could write a 10k word thesis on why this is so good, but as I still laugh as loud watching an episode for the 100th+ time as much as I did the very first, that sums it up neatly as to how brilliant this is!!!
