Ralph bellamy's wife has been kidnapped by jack palance. His wife is played by the beautiful claudia cardinale. Palance and cardinale both play mexican characters. Bellamy hires lee marvin, robert ryan, woody strode and burt lancaster to go to mexico and take his wife back to the us. They are to be paid a handsome purse for her retrieval. Of course earning such a purse brings with it danger. Both in retrieving cardinale and bringing her back. Lancaster and marvin are particularly good. Nice to see a black cowboy in woody strode. The ending has a nice twist. To tell would be to spoil so we won't! Enjoy
