This release by Orbit Media suffers from bad picture quality. It is a wonderful movie and Burt Lancaster is in top form, pity it couldn't be presented in a better print. Orbit Media seem to specialize in public domain pictures so perhaps this picture is in public domain and therefore they have no access to a master print. In the US this film is released by Warner Brothers so try to get the US DVD instead.
