The man with no name is back... The man in black is waiting... a walking arsenal - he uncoils, strikes and kills!

Clint Eastwood had proven so successful in his first foray into European Westerns with 'A Fistful Of Dollars' that a follow up sequel was inevitable. Superbly scripted by Luciano Vincenzoni, featuring an unforgettable alliance between ruthless gun-slingers Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef.

'For A Few Dollars' More tells the tale of a ruthless quest to track down the notorious bandit El Indio played by Gian Maria Volonte. The film is also noted for its array of weaponry, a veritable arsenal of rifles that became so operatic and Ennio Morricone's atmospheric score keeps the tension taut as the action moves from Jail breaks and hold-ups to spectacular gun battles.

'For A Few Dollars More' in my opinion is the best of the 'Man with no name' trilogy. Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef are two bounty hunters out to kill villainous Gian Maria Volonte. Eastwood and Van Cleef are both fantastic heroes and Volonte is a great villain, playing a similar role to the one he played in 'A Fistful Of Dollars'. This has alot more to it than the first film and I think it edges the third slightly.

Fresh, violent, funny and very, very stylish...

The second in the "dollars" trilogy starring Clint Eastwood is hugely entertaining, not as revered as its successor, "The good, the bad and the ugly", but just as much fun to watch.

Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef are the two meanest hombres to walk the dusty plains and Gian Maria Volonte complements them perfectly with his twitchy, intense performance as the mad bank robber, El Indio.

Splendid visuals, classic Morricone score, great extras, tremendous fun.

 A Classic Film But....

Buy the German version, it features a different restoration by Paramount instead of MGM, picture is slightly better and several scenes run slightly longer.

 a great film
