Clint Eastwood gives a different but creepy performance in this revenge western about a man out for revenge on the crooked outlaws who hung him and left him for dead. Eastwoods' Jed Cooper is very different to that of 'The Man with no name' and 'Josey Wales'. However his coolness and toughness is evident here also.
