What will you do with yours?

In the year 2035, technology and robots are a trusted part of everyday life. But that trust is broken when a scientist is found dead and a sceptical detective (Smith) believes that it may have been perpetrated by a robot. However his investigation uncovers a larger threat to humanity!

I, Robot (2004) - ****
Will Smith stars in this action packed, enjoyable and surprisingly clever, in a Philip K. Dick (who wrote the novels from which Blade Runner, Total Recall and A Scanner Darkly were based) sort of way, look at our reliance on technology. Smith pulls off funny and serious with equal aplomb, cementing himself as a star. Great support from James Cromwell as the already dead Dr. Alfred Lanning, Bruce Greenwood, Alan Tudyk and Shia LaBeouf. An intelligent and engaging piece of blockbuster entertainment.
